Diet Steaz Energy Drink

Steaz has a wonderful energy drink out right now that has 80 mg caffeine from awesome natural sources- green tea, guarana, acai, and yerba mate. What more could you want from an energy drink?

Less sugar. And NO. Not the fake kind. I don’t want maltitol, zylitol, or poticol, and I especially don’t want maltodextrin or sucralose! I don’t know what maltodextrin is, even after researching it, and I know that sucralose is gross.

So why can’t these energy drinks just put less sugar in, right?! They taste like syrupy cough syrup. Not just cough syrup, but sickly sweet slime. I barely can stand ‘red bull’ in a vodka beverage because it’s so sugary.

And I used to like Rockstar and was excited about Rockstar Juiced until I noted that it had Sucralose in it! Why!!! They put in Juice and took away my freedom!

But this Steaz is good stuff. And I wanted it to have just a bit less sugar still (though it is less sweet than other energy drinks, but to be fair, it’s also got a little less kick…than coffee (my primary method of caffeination these days).

And now they have put out a

    Diet Steaz Energy Drink

.
Since it’s actually healthy, that doesn’t mean added fake sweeteners (that may cause cancer). No. It is going from around 19g sugar to 9g sugar! It tastes great too.

Yay! Everyone rejoice and go buy one, available at: Buy Diet Steaz at These Locations!

Below is how I got this info- moral of the story is a- try it, b- consume less sugar, and c- always speak up if you care about something, oh, and d- i’m always saying random stuff

listen to them below- names are changed to awesome things to protect identity’s sakes.

Hello!

Just wanted to say that your green tea energy drink is one of the best I
have tried. I’d like to put in a product recommendation. Please make a
low sugar version of this. I think the downfall of every energy drink is
the level of sugar in them. Almost all of my friends agree that they are
far too sweet. If this had more like 15mg of sugar you would have me as a
2 can a day customer.

Same recipe, just less sugar please!

Thank you,

Good news, Diet Steaz hits all Whole Foods stores in August. Only 9 grams
of sugar per serving and nothing artificial!

Let us know when you try it.

Cheers,

First Name (Mr. Man)

got an espresso machine!

don’t tell strawbyhobby that i got it from walmywamwam for 29.99. pathetic! jk haha lol. you see, i did go to starbucks for the ‘accessory kit’ to make up for what it lacked (spoons, shot glasses, steaming pitcher with thermometer) and that cost almost as much as the machine did!

i’ve made three ‘lattes’ so far. it’s recommended that you use espresso obviously. but i had some good ol’ christmas blend open, so why waste it- christmas blend lattes for everyone! and they taste good? i think so! odd. if you work at starbucks i think you’d understand or be able to imagine what it might be like.

other than that…working on youcertainlymustshouldlearnyousomesweetfrench.com/yeah! that’s partially ‘due’ next week. freaking out about how much schoolwork and how little time due to $ work. ugh.

in india there is almost no Alzheimer’s and my carpool ride buddy and i were talking about how it might have to do with diet aka they use a lot of spices and awesome stuff. japan too. japan also has a very low autism and other childhood disorder rate which may be because of diet. interesting to think about all of these environmental factors as triggers and the dna stuff that has/is/will come up in the next decade or so.

i don’t quite understand this zen productivity site but i think i really like it! my mom told me today that women who drink 3 cups of coffee a day are 70% less likely to commit suicide. gotta love off-the-wall statistics that make no real coherent sense. i guess that definitely could be true for one instance or something.

i shall make a movie soon and figure out how to put it up here. i suppose youtube is a practical means of doing so. i am thinking out loud. i am boring myself.

well- here’s something humorous, inspiring, and uplifting. an ex-400-lb guy loses some mad weight and runs the freaking boston marathon. inspiration plus.

in order for me to run it next year i’m going to have to start living off espresso at work and at home and i’ll no longer need sleep.

false,

but i can always dream.

kawfee tawk

Coffee that is ground up should really be thrown away within a week to ensure maximum freshness.

Freezing coffee isn’t actually better for it, it takes away from the quality.

A good espresso shot should be in the range of 18-23 seconds.

Espresso shots have a body, heart, and crema, it’s a mix of deep dark browns and then some more tan/white foam on top.

Coffee can be washed, semi-washed or something else.

Coffee!!

It’s good for you. Sometimes.

I’ll let you know more later- I heart coffee!!!

what some people may #$%^ to realize

failure is a four letter word! well, i guess not failure exactly hmm.

a boy ordered a ‘tall’ cup of espresso today at sbuxysauce. tall=12ounces=we put 9 shots in before i got worried about lawsuits, but apparently he does this quite regularly.

i had to prod, push, and procure. he admits to recently having a ‘tingling arm’ experience that ended in a hospital. i am weary of having given him that cup of espresso. as my coworker put it- “he was nice. (pauses for a smiley second) and, he really seemed to simultaneously need and not need that espresso in the slightest bit”*
*these may or may not have been his exact  words*

(sing the following to jingle bells)- “who is cold, who is tired, will all this hooplah do? i’ve got 121 files of transcription and tomorrow i’ve got schoo, oooh!” the next verse was really good but i fell asleep accidentally while i was supposed to be working, which all means i’m lying and procrastinating and i must go.

thanks to my sponsor Strawburkenstocks, for keeping me going!!!

“i’m not addicted to coffee, i’m just addicted to not getting enough sleep”

someone asked me why i don’t ever get sleep. it’s not because of the coffee, that’s just a byproduct. but please do try the starbucks’ Christmas Blend, it is soo delicious this year. definitely my favorite coffee. and if you’re going to buy some of it, stop by my Starbucks and NOWHERE ELSE. i expect to see you soon (you could even win a TV/DVD because of it).

i love Current TV, just because people just like me just made it. i hate school, schoolwork, and homework. that’s why i want to become a teacher. to not have people feel like that.

sometimes i just look up random websites to see if they exist, sometimes because i want them as my domain. i looked up justthetwoof.us (clever, right?) and was a little disturbed. but good job to whoever these people are!

when i drink Christmas Blend, it’s almost like the holidays are coming, but a holiday where I have a family and a dog and cat, and maybe whole lot of money, and I not only work for myself, but interact with with a lot of people and help them learn and stuff.

remember gummy bears? well what about mr. dress-up? did you watch him? and the polka dot door? that was a good one. i also liked ducktales.

it’s raining very very hard out. i can’t think.

and this just in from drinkcocaine.com- almost the same amount of caffeine as starbucks coffee!!!

my recent mention of the energy drink cocaine got me reading all of this stuff about the politics behind the controversy, someone made a good point, think of the ever-exalted Paris Hilton and her behavior! it’s true peepz, kids know what’s up. so anyway, i was surprised and pleasantly so, to see that cocaine energy drink has only just a little bit more than a grande cup of starbucks coffee- that stuff is lethal!

woohoo for starbucks!!!

demythtified- (#1) More caffeine in chai tea than coffee?

Last night someone tried to tell me that chai tea has more caffeine than coffee. but doing any of a number of searches online will tell you that’s not true. One of the more confusing aspects of caffeine content is the fact that coffee contains less caffeine than tea when measured in its dry form. The caffeine content of a prepared cup of coffee is significantly higher than the caffeine content of a prepared cup of tea. ” (source) The difference is that you use more coffee weight than tea, if you used more tea leaves by weight than coffee it would have more caffeine, but obviously the weights are very different.

So in conclusion, coffee has the most caffeine- but the energy drink Cocaine has some mad crazy amounts, if you could only get that! (it’s only available in like 4 places in NY)
Here is a sample of caffeintent levels:

Other Beverages

8-ounce Beverage milligrams

Coffee, Drip 115-175
Coffee, Brewed 80-135
Coffee, Espresso (2 ounces) 100
Coffee, Instant 65-100

Tea, brewed, U.S. brands (avg.) 40

Coffee, Decaf, instant 2-3

(for more info, including soda caffeine content, go to http://wilstar.com/caffeine.htm, or check out this: death by caffeine for fun to see how much of certain caffeine drinks will kill you)

too many finger cracks and too little dimensions

my fingers are cracked from using the sanitizer at work so right now i am actually (trying) to rework my typing fingers. too hard- i will just press lightly like. yeah, not enough time around here for doing everything. i want this blog to be so kickin. my friend is brewing up a mighty fine blog right now- a nice surprise one- and surprise- i’m having a party saturday at my new apartment- with my roomie- and it’s a housewarming party- so bring a housewarming gift you know. do you like these?- or not-

smokers need some motivation? how bout i hung out with a kid the other night at a bar who was trying to get addicted to cigarettes so he could see how hard it is (or isn’t- so he thinks) to give them up!

Hey, get your cats cloned here: oh wait never mind, it costs $32,000!!! but check out how cute (or messed-up?) looking that little kitty is?!!??

well it’s quite obvious that i’m just procrastinating from doing my homework, right? in other good news- bella bit the lid off of a plastic bottle of massage oil and ate who even knows how much of it.

we’re all pretty freaky freaks out here, in the land of diamonds and dementia. today i was remarking that it’d be fun to have a life where i could just push my baby around in a stroller and drink starbucks while shopping at the mall all day- and then i remembered how much i like and actually do prefer my life.

but maybe someday. for a day. maybe not. maybe a winebago full of used books for sale and espressos on the go? or maybe a vanagon.

yes, definitely a vanagon. now see you at the party bright and early!

as i sit me down to eggs and spoiled coffee

with all the coffee i get from my workywa, you’d really think i’d be enjoying a piping hot fresh cup of coffee every time i ever even had the slightest itching for it. well, you see, my bro adoomski got me this colombian coffee- it’s really from colombia you see!!! so i have been enjoying it, but also forgetting about it, and today mark offered to make some because i made some scrambied eggs and bagums, and i said alright (tentatively- i was thinking about freshness factor) and he made some, and indeed, it was too fruity and ripe and sweetish, it had gone sour. my point, poorly described in fake coffee lingo, is that it was old. bad and old. too bad indeed, i really enjoyed it while it lasted.

coffee might be hurting my life, but i don’t know if i can stop drinking it. like last night, i went to a 25th wedding anniversary party, and i downed two cups of delicious (generic?) joe and it tasted good. maybe that’s why i was highly hyper and did not sleep until 5am.

would you look at that beauty and perfection?!?! in a quiz on my myspace page, i mention that i’d appreciate it if you never came in and asked for a ’skinny latte’ because i don’t actually know what that means or where it came from and i do know why it disturbs me so much. so stop thanks.

i feel good today and i don’t see why. i have some significant downfalls as far as being a good useful person goes, i don’t have anything to look forward to, but i still feel excited. glad to be alive and well. living. breathing. not sleeping quite enough. eating too much. such is the life. at least there is a nice assortment of tastyfine beverages out there to compliment all the food i down.

so yeah, point of the day is, as a wise Pablo Picasso once said:

“When I was a child, my mother said to me, ‘If you become a soldier, you’ll be a general. If you become a monk you’ll end up as the pope. ‘Instead I became a painter and wound up as Picasso’.”

So thank your mothers, I know mine ran a whole marathon this morning before I even ate my breakfalunch! way to go mom!
