Oh the dreaded stretching. I could say a lot about it, but I found the perfect thing that says everything I’d want to instead. I do not like stretching, and as they put it: “There’s an endless number of runners who seem perfectly able to squeeze in many hours of running every week but who just don’t seem to have the time to stretch for five or ten minutes before and after.” Agreed!

So this CoolRunning site writes a little about the importance of stretching and then gives 12 great stretches for runners.

I did almost all of them, but I need to get a towel or a band for doing some better stretches. All I know is if I don’t stretch I will not make it to the half marathon!
