Michael Jackson and Farrah Fawcett Dead on the Same Day?

How much can we handle?! I wonder if Michael Jackson was just too upset about the death of Farrah Fawcett?

Now that makes blogging about sitting in the sun, reading a good book, and wanting to go to Subway for dinner seem trivial in comparison.

Jokin’ bout that personal stuff. I will say this. I know that people are going to crack jokes, say kind and malicious things about him (and everything in between), and people will debate this or that. But you cannot deny that he had some timeless hits!

I mean I agree, timeless hits that I will always ( probably ) rock out too. No doubt on that one. I think he did contribute that to society, as well as a new perspective into African Americans.

However, I do not agree with society’s way of going to extreme celebrity obession by posting tributes nonstop on nearly every channel, on every program about his life or death. I mean, how many other people died that day in addition to MJ ? How many other people died in my city alone that contributed all wonderful things to this world that same very day , yet all this society is concerned about is the train-wreck life of a celebrity that allegedly molested a child, started a theme park, underwent countless cosmetic surgeries and nearly threw his baby over a balcony ?

Why is our society so obsessed to extremems? I mean, next week it will be something else, Brittany Spears immaculate conception or something.
