vacations instead of staycations

you would be surprised how little money i have even though i have a job that pays me decently. i guess life is just very expensive. and maybe i don’t get paid enough. i definitely think i don’t.

but i did go to houston. and it was good. very good indeed.

and i bought a ticket to go home to detroit. and it will be great.

you know why? because staying around here would be a tad depressing and counterproductive. sure i might do a few things, but i would barely be able to relax.

that said, i’m sure i would enjoy cleaning my house, going through stuff, and getting to know the new town where i live better, but i also have family out there.

i will add pictures to this blog to make it more interesting. when i have time. which will be never, now that my vacation is over and i was sick and am still and am working ever-so-hard again.

but i insist that you do try and go somewhere to get away. it’s just so necessary.

i might not suggest flying, but i had to. and it was aight. besides the delay on the way home.

finally, i hated writing papers and luckily as a french teacher i do not have to make my students write research papers.
