happy holloween
The West Village Halloween parade is still on, but faced a $4,000 deficit this year because of the scary economy. I promise you I had thought up “holloween” before I noticed they used it. I actually found that article by typing “the economy ruined halloween” into google. Great minds think alike. Most of this great stuff is already out there, leaving little room for inventors- except for the technology geniuses. Sure, there is always more art and music to make. In fact, I am very proud to say I finally recorded my first ever rhyme scheme. Got some of Mrak’s nice beats, was inspired by my cousin rhyming on the other half, and I went ahead and did it. I still procrastinate and freak out and lack sleep like nobody’s business as far as school prep goes, but I am quite proud of myself. It’s not terrifically wonderful, but it’s a start. It’s a family collab and I like that most. Hmmm, let’s see. Other than that I have been too busy to blog, too busy to sleep, and a bit stressed almost constantly. I watched the Phillies and liked it, I love to watch “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia” and I think I want a job with foreign and international business language type stuff. You can see that I’ve already almost landed a job in that respect because of the lingo. But do I really want to add a statistic to the “nearly 50% of new educators leave the field within the first 5 years”? Maybe. We’ll see.
In the meantime, I hope you didn’t spend $60 on candy, which is apparently an average amount for an American to spend. Also, vote soon, and vote wisely. Otherwise I’ll have to be blogging from another country, as a fewjittif.
