Amandoo Highly Recommends Wild Ginger – Vegetarian & Asian Cuisine (formerly Natural Village)

Remember Natural Village in Huntingdon Valley, PA? One day I was so sad and scared when I tried to go there and see it closed! But good news!! It’s reopened under the name Wild Ginger and it’s similar management (I read that the old owners sold it to their niece), just with more exciting food (including sushi and Thai) and a more aesthetic interior dining experience!

I stopped by today, hoping to find good stuff, and I was happy to see some familiar faces and food offerings (sweet, efficient staff, and delicious healthy favorites like kale and garlic chicken or vegan mango chicken), and new ones too- so I tried their sushi. I enjoyed a cucumber and avocado roll, Philadelphia roll, and a sweet potato roll. Delightful and delicious, reasonably priced, and you can even get it with brown rice!

More reasons to go to Wild Ginger:
-The staff are friendly, fast, and efficient, and it looks like they are even better than before!
-The overall experience is very fun, and I love the classy and non-intrusive decor.
-They still have all of the healthy favorites, with new sushi and Thai food. And- they can spice it up however you want and I’m sure they would take any special requests.
-They offer some great lunch specials!
-It’s B.Y.O.B and they now have later hours!

Most of the items are about the same price (some are maybe a little bit more expensive), but it’s worth every penny- the food is delicious and healthy Chinese (and now other Asian tasty delights) and they have such great service I’d highly recommend going there for dinner, or stopping by for a lunch to enjoy the ambiance. Ordering take out works well too, as I found, their service was speedy, and they even offered me tea while I waited!

I will put up a menu once I get my scanner/workstation back in order (excuses I know), but I just had to write about Wild Ginger because I’m so glad it still has all of the great vegan Chinese favorites, as well as some exciting new sushi and other options- like seaweed salad, and…sexy salmon?! I’ll have to ask about that!

Head there now (Justafarm shopping center) and pick up a menu, which currently has some coupons on it, or call (215) 364-3960. Also be sure to check out their sweet new Wild Ginger website that will make you salivate! Yummy!!!
