So what happened with the no-payers?
Like no-shows, no-payers are people who rightfully owe others money and do not give it to them.
This would be:
a) my landlord
b) Ryan Rhythm dj company
So what happened I know a lot of you are wondering?
a) My landlady called and said she would give us part of our deposit back, and split the cleaning costs with us, which, she didn’t remember if “it was 200, maybe less” (She admitted it could have been less than $200)
b) Ryan Rhythm? They threatened to sue me (for them not paying me and me writing about it), and I wrote an email to ask them their side of the story and have not yet heard back.
What’s next? I will write out a transcript of the message left from my landlady and will ask for more of the security deposit (why is she nickel-and-diming- me when she is SO rich!?) And as far as not getting paid for DJing goes? I’ll keep waiting on this one before making any conclusions.
On a happier note, my new real job is paying me, and I got some nice apartment furnishings from IKEA. More on this, and the Fresh Cut Salads, later.
