you wrote a book

MYSPACE MAKES ME ANXIOUS (like i am not cool enough fast enough or something).
you wrote a book, a whole book of computer jokes,

i don’t read, so i’m glad you can’t remember your book.

i am sort of a learning first timer.

plagiarism i know that’s plagiarism.

(funny, i was just streaming the words i was hearing on the colbert report, and guess what? they mentioned the plageereesmo, which i was doing)

SO I AM WRITING TO MENTION MY NEW SECTION LINKOO- it’s hopefully (ambitiously) going to let you know what i’m doing in school.

SCHOOLBLOG! YEAH!

10 reasons to be really sad right now

1) i haven’t done any homework for years (but am indeed in school with a full workload- mostly due tomorrow)
2) i found this article and instead of practicing what it preach-ed i just read it and furthered my procrastination.

3) this one is really good, especially at this age (43 i mean 20 less than that), oh, i’m sad because some apply and i’m old. wait, no, i laughed more and still did not fit into lots.

4) you bought ingredients for and made two vats of tuna noodle casserole and still did not do your homework, when you could have gotten a burger, no wait, no. no burgers 4 me.
5) the Croc Hunter’s wife wrote about how difficult it’s been without that old faithful bravey mcgee, and i am sad no more crocs will be hunted.

6) i actually cried while driving on the way to work because i miss someone so much. it’s one of those ‘hey you know relationships end and you have to get over people who were sort of in your family but not really kind of sort of’ anyway, i got sad and bla bla bla

7) your health may never be safe- people are giving out fake medications for fake sickness…and stuff. in other news, too much testosterone will kill brain cells right?!?! well i didn’t know this, but, BOO! women. boo. boohoo again.

8) *our eagles players are out of control and not happy about it. i don’t even know about this other than hearing the same three pieces of information about it ALLLLLL DAYYYY.*

9) my cell phone dies all the time. i charge it too much and it’s not charged enough. i have a razr thang but i don’t want to deal with anything other than number 10 right now.

10) even though i might be an awesome person or not, i could just spend all my time sharing info and insights, but no, i have to do homework, that i have not done, that i can’t possibly even have the time to do (if i want to sleep for a few hours so i can work eight hours) but bah! bah to homework. i’m sad because of homework, if you are too, say yeah! most of you probably aren’t though, so just find something else to be sad about for me…

sad

*addendumb*- i am leaving my ignorance up there to be commented on- shows how much i care about football ha! anyway looks like owens’ depression is due to not living in philly!

sue me america

sue me and i’ll sue you back. recently someone tried to sue starbucks (so i hear) for not honoring the FAKE iced coffee internet coupon- wow! people! a two dollar cup of coffee that isn’t rightfully yours. there are stories way way worse than this out there. lazy, selfish, indulgent, greedy, pathetic, in-need-of-instant-gratification, dumb idiot type society.

some people still make me laugh, like interesting story time man. if i couple this story with a description of the shirt i bought in the city today, future prospective employers might look at this with some sort of incriminating intent. well, let me lay it out there, this is my bloggy and i’ll cry if i want to! (but you’ll have to ask to see my shirt)

i’m just a little fed up with these self-righteous people who don’t understand why Clueless is a hilarious movie!

today i went down to south street again. i really recommend this store: jinxed but go there because they really have some krunktop stuff there, like interesting books as well. and they’re raffling off a 1994 nissan altima right now?!?!?!? yeah!

anyway, i really encourage adventuring and travel, especially abroad. today your goal is to get a passport.

coffee passport

(you can start with this one- get it for free at starbucks and start your tasting journey).

i had a decaf americano today (i admit it was not from starby’s but rather from a local philly shop- though i did go to starby’s earlier in the aft) and it tasted sooo grood.

legality!

they found it they did

a magical underground world that is full of crystal and rock formation and it’s mighty cavey down there.

it’s in the Sequoia National Park, and someone used that last night for the ‘S’ parks in Scattergories. What a great, but frustrating game. I just don’t know what to think of it with all its creative interpretation (misuse/abuse) possibilities………

just like those pervylicious Fresh Cut Salads. their next show stop is a double header- Tin Angel (philly) this Friday (9/29) and a local C and S Club show (9/30) Saturday. go to both shows! check out that gross forum for more info (and maybe even posters- posters that are just wrong)

-methriex man, closing lids

thinkin about babies?

watch this video and see if you still want to have one! haha.

this week, one of my best childhood friends denielle and her husband (my cousin) jason, had a precious little girl they named adara. i did get to see her at like one day old, but didn’t want to hold her yet. she was born at home and it was a great home birth. yay for them!

my sister norah and bro-in-law anday are having a second child and they found out it’s going to be a girl. soo excited about that! i’m going to have to go home now for spring break (as the baby is due in february) and visit my new niece!!! (second niece after charlotte)

carla(my roomie)’s niece came over today with her parents and she was been a boondle of cuteness. if you want to see pictures of that schmootie, go to www.mkingphoto.com and click on after/offspring, then galleries, then choose ‘raine‘ and she’s the cutest!

raine

and finally, borat is not for babies. thank you ladies and gentlemen, tune in very soon for some fine tunes.

hugs and kisses.

Review: Fresh Cut Salads “Vitamin Sea”

Fresh Cut Salads
___________

“Vitamin Sea” (2006)
___________

This album is Genius- goes down well with a glass of Guiness.

Intro- a delightful trip up and down the linings of your inner esophagus, with a little bit of suspense

Importance of Gradients- what are those sounds? tiny keyboard, surprise me with your sounds from outer space, and hold me closer. the powerful vocal section crescendoes into a mighty woh that makes you feel like you can really do anything, except for making music that would sound like the fresh cut salads

I Can’t Stop This Feeling- i love the way the vibraphone pulsates happiness into my surroundings and in a way, this song reminds me of the Beach Boys, only more modern and reaches out to the youth to stroke their hair more softly, even the mohawks and mullets.

Self Deprecationists- a cheery, sing-along type ditty about my life and many of the lives of people close to me. i just never knew how to put it in such a way that everyone would want to whistle and cheer with it too. i also noticed that they’re the type of people who have to get that last word in in an argument.

If You Don’t- i would never say a song on this album was my favorite (because they’re all perfect in their own lil way) but this one is delectably fit. with an almost eery beginning and a starkly contrasted bang of bop to top, the cowbell and swanky bass take me sailing swiftly through this tasty adventure of a tale of curtains, being naked, and rage. silky.

W.A.I.T.O.P.W.G.C.S.M.T.I.W.T.C.U.A.D.- powerful, full of force, almighty, persuasive, enlivening, enlightening, strengthy, endowed, likable, savvy, hearty, poignant, colossal, highly relatable- who doesn’t feel this way?!!?!!? and damned if that title isn’t clever! this one really weaves a nesty (comforting) web in my heart strings.

A Bunch of Eyes- did i say the other one was my favorite? you can’t even give this song any genre classification it’s so incomparably unique. i want to know what this man is talking about and at the same time i don’t even care. the magical mystery tour bus has nothing on this trip through the intergalactic milky spacial way!!!

Barracuda!- as an avid linguist, i can genuinely appreciate their lack of any correlation between the lyrics to this song and the spanish language. but it reminds me of going to spain or mexico, allows me to fantasize about visiting a place like acapulco or costa rica, and generally just makes me laugh. especially because it would really hurt to use a barracuda as a means of transportation.

Dysgitimate Child- oh my goodness! who is this fine lady singing with such a sultry voice! this song goes from soothing to smoldering in no time. and it does NOT stop there!

Propped Up- remember when you learned the 5 W’s in school? Well- who, what, where, why, when, and w(h)ow! this song could literally knock a person out. we may never know how they did it. probably not.

Important Sandwich- another greaty but oldy, somewhat Beatle-esque, this one can really get to you. reminds you of the good times, the old times, the new times, the new york times on a saturday morning with some coffee and promises of snuggles. a tear in your eye?

Up the Trunk of a Wisdom Tree- short and tall this one is, climactic, exalting, over so soon, but so fulfilling along the way.

Man- boo! this song’ll just smack you right upside the head with no bars held up. a true gem on the album- punk rock and heavy metal like- affable and laughable! i mean, cranberry man, trodden feet?!??!?!

Dream Song- hearty, wholesome, a sexy little love song that makes you pee your pants a little. from all the excitement that is. vibrant. makes you hold your breath. you don’t know what’s going to happen, but you’re falling in love all the way, chuckle, chuckle!
_______________________

seriously though. this album is decadent. it’s superb. exquisite! i could rant and rave about it all day long and longer. 7 cheers for the sea! you’ll get all your vitamins and more from listening to a tidbit of this album- so check it out:

the Fresh Cut Salads website

their Myspace page (for music samples)

do it. you will never regret it.

the king, the queen, the rat, and the court office

i believe tonight makes the third time this spectacular woman has come into starbucks since i started working there. she looks at you, real intense like, and might get out a word (might not) and starts a ramble rant rave (call it what you will) about ‘the king, the queen, the rat” and many other things including the ‘court’ and sometimes the ‘dog’ or the ‘prince’. she just goes. and it’s fast and loud, almost like she can’t control it like tourettes, and she manages to stop for a second to ask for a tall coffee and then goes on. this time i was prepared (and still rather intrigued as always), so i looked at her and tried to give her my best ‘i know what you mean’ look, and said ‘yeah’. she just looked back into my soul and promised to tell me later what she really means and she walked away to share it with others. now i know what it has to do with, believe you me, and i kind of like it.

great. well. i am moved into my new apartment and plan on having lots of fun stuff come of it. oh yeah.

and i’m scared.

new apartment!

so grood.

it is soo beautiful and spacious and it looks sort of like this:

my house

and like this:

outside apartment

okay more about it (and more truths) later! have to unpack!

porpoise goes the weasel

goals- i am going to add some cool things on this bloggyspace- games like maybe even duckhunt, education information stations, and at least more pictures. among many other things. (so please keep checking back)

for now i’m currently not doing my homework as usual, i’m going to write an assignment on the (unfortunate) drastic increase in the amount of antipsychotic prescriptions to youngins (for no reason), and sleep too. no amount of coffee can get you through a sleepless life- but as markdoo pointed out- i am living like twice as much life as other people are sleeping.

my assignment inspiration came not from where it should have (class texts) but from the lyrics to one of the roots’ new songs- false media, which i once again highly recommend. i also urge you to go to popurls today because there is too much good stuff there to read or recommend even, you know?!?!?

and did you know i received my order for some ‘onion’ chronicles? yeah, they’re funny! but i’m saving them until i move into my new apartment friday! yay! life is grood times.

rainbow

once my mom and i saw a double rainbow in france- a rainbow coming off part of the other rainbow. you know?

CHECK BACK SOON FOR MORE COOL FUN TIMES!

self-told truths, lies, and admissions (but no admissions)

no admissions to no loony bins that is. loony bin what who?!?!?

now say it with me, but in the right voice: “i like” yes. if you know what i’m talking about then you really do. if not, hop on it. go ahead…hop on the bandbus.

admissions of my friendship to myself:

1) i tried to tell the roots they were actually my real friends today. i guess that’s either better done in dreams or in real person when we hang out when i’m like a mad hiphopper.
2) if i deny something for long enough, it will not actually go away, but certainly and inevitably come up again, and sometimes worsely so
3) relieving some of my self-proclaimed-pressure to be perfect feels really nice and can move me towards accomplishing real goals that will rectify thizat
4) if you go to myspizzacelefome  you can hear a real nice song whether you like myspace or not
5) i should go to bed. serious cocao. trees. and leprechauns. all the people who else seen the leprechaun say yeah?!?!?!

last not lie- i love everybody. mostly everybody. and i don’t know why i wouldn’t find something to like in you (well at least that you’re reading my blog…if you’re not spamming it that is!)
